A well conditioned golf course and a light frost got the day off to a great start. Simon Lilly (Kettering) came out on top in the individual event with 8 birdies (4 in the last 5 holes) to card a 68 (-4) and maintain his excellent run of form. Tim Rouse (Northants County) came second with 70 (-2) but managed one better in winning the Team event. With his team members Liam Davies and Phil Beswick (in picture with sponsor Ivan Roy) and NPGA President John Pulford they won on countback from Jason Newman's (Cherwell Edge) team of Maurice Springhall, Max Belcher and Jamie Powell and Shane Rose's team of Capper Rose, Bob Wallace and Dick Spaughton. all three teams carded 128 (-16).
