Strong winds and an excellent conditioned course caused scoring to be high. However Shane Rose (Cold Ashby) and Bryn Morris (Kibworth) overcame the conditions to shoot 71(-1). Tied 3rd was Simon Lilly (Kettering), Alan Wright and Carl Sainsbury (Brampton Heath) and Rodney Holt (Silverstone) with 73 (+1). The team event also went to Shane who with Capper Rose, Dick Spaughton and Sponsor Dick Underwood came in with 133 (-11).
