Northamptonshire PGA 2005/6 Order of Merit

European Challenge Tour Player Simon Lilly (Wellingborough) was the main man in the 2005/6 Season, Simon won an amazing 7 events out of the 10 he played in and recorded 191 points from a maximum 200. Simon also managed a stroke average of 69.80. The Other winners in the series were Shane Rose Cold Ashby), Stuart Reynolds (Northant's County) who both had two victories a piece, Joe Wilson (Wellingborough), Rodney Holt (Silverstone) and Carl Sainsbury (Brampton Heath) with one.

Bryn Morris (Blackthorn Wood) was the only professional to play in all 14 events, and had led the Order of Merit for so long, only to be caught at the last few events.

Apart from Lilly's phenomenal display of consistent golf, Stuart Reynolds and Shane Rose never dropped below 6th place in any event and Mike Gallagher (Farthingstone) failed only once to manage the same fate!

Well done to all those mentioned and to all the Professional's and Amateurs' that have taken part in the 2005/6 series and have had success, We are now looking forward to a great summer or weather and golf (and of course the World Cup, Come on England!)
