A Glorious day saw the Cherwell Edge Pro-Am get off to a great
start, the course was in good condition and so was some of the
scoring, Shane Rose (Cold Ashby) won the Professional event with
a fine 67 (-3), followed by Simon Lilly (Wellingborough) with 68
(-2), third was Nick Soto (Northampton) with a 69 (-1). The Team
event went to Tim Rouses team of amateurs Phil Beswick, Gary
Keys and Chris Charlesworth with a score of 124 (-16), runners up
were Simon Lilly's team of Colin Bishop, Philip Baldwin and Alan
Baldwin with 127 (-13).
