Brampton Heath Golf Centre was again the host for the 7th winter
pro-am. It was a cold yet sunny day for all who played and a
high class field saw the top 5 professionals only separated by
four shots. Eventual winner was ever consistent Simon Lilly
representing Kettering Golf Club with a score of 69. A
1-under-par 71 from Cold Ashby head professional Shane Rose saw
him take second spot. Two scores of level par 72 saw home
professionals Dan Wood and Carl Sainsbury share third place. In
fifth position saw Farthingstone professional Mike Gallagher
with 73.
In the team competition winner Carl Sainsbury and his team Nick Herridge, Guy Loveland and William Rice with a score of 129. Second place Saw Mike Gallagher with amateur partners Matt Hodgkiss, Brad Wardall and Bryn Thomas posting a 130-14 under par score. In third place with a score of 131 was Simon Lilly and partners Les Bone, Tom Pearson and Colin Bishop.
