Would you please note the following points and guide
lines.
- Winter rules apply to all N.P.G.A. Winter Series
Pro-Am events.
- Tee of the day will be white unless advised
otherwise, for ladies red tees apply.
- Please note any local rules on the card or
published on the club notice board. Any additions will be notified
in writing.
- Measuring devices may be used by all players as
long as they measure distance only.
Players
are requested to have a current handicap certificate available for their
Professional to verify at their first event. Note that from the 1st
January 2010 this must be an active handicap as laid down by CONGU.
Handicap
stroke allowance is ¾’s.
Strokes are
taken off the men’s stroke index.
Maximum
handicap is 24 = 18 shots for men and
30 = 23 shots for ladies. Ladies receive
additional shots based on the difference between the men’s and ladies
standard scratch up to a maximum of two shots.
Plus
strokes are to be taken at the easiest par fives then from stroke index
18.
Awarding
Prizes.
Ties in the team Pro – Am are decided by:
- Best back 9 holes
- Best last 6 holes
- Best last 3 holes
- Best last 2 holes
- Best last hole
- Then match play starting at the first hole until
a winner is found.
Professionals
tied will share the prize money for those positions covered.
Top three
individual and team Professionals are expected to remain for the prize
presentation.

cause embarrassment by asking for an exchange of goods. Thank you for
